Rorschach Was Right is about projection—how meaning shifts depending on what we’re prepared to see. The abstracted scorpion form became a way to explore not just threat, but elegance and restraint, while the orchid replacing its stinger introduces a quieter tension between beauty, attraction, and vulnerability. Neither element is purely benign or dangerous; each carries aspects of the other.
I’m interested in how quickly we assign intention, morality,… or desire to an image, often revealing more about ourselves than the subject itself. Like a psychological test, the work doesn’t resolve those contradictions—it reflects them back.
