About this artwork
A very rainy afternoon in Paris. On the staircase leading from the forecourt of the Centre Pompidou to rue Rambuteau, a group of children accompanied by two adults climbs the steps. Apparently a school trip; the group was perhaps at the Centre Pompidou where several activities are offered to children. Their raincoats and parkas, with their bright colors, reminded me of a child's coloring page, as if these children were both characters in this scene…
and creators of this image themselves.
