About this artwork
Paris, forecourt of the Centre Pompidou. Under the effect of the rain, some silhouettes retain their integrity, but appear to have a resigned or melancholic gait, and others are torn to shreds, as if the beings were fragmenting, splitting into two, losing their identity. By streaking this urban landscape, gray and gridded on the ground, the rain completes the process of enclosing the beings here, limiting their hopes.
