About this artwork
This one started out with a feeling of strangeness (the figure with the umbrella), and yet strength (the tree). The tire tracks added a sense of possibility or confusion. The geometric line, a wall/ceiling molding, I liked for the connectedness it creates. All the objects spring from the “ground” of cosmic quanta.
Robert Stanley
United States
A Physics student turned painter and digital artist, Robert Stanley deeply intertwines philosophy and poetry within his work. His eclectic style straddles the realistically observed and abstract, revealing hidden motifs derived from various surroundings. Stanley's art is a remarkable manifestation of the symbiosis of chaos and order, evoking a captivating meshing of emotion and enigma.
The “background” is the ground of our existence, the cosmic flow of time in which contemporary events existosmos. The relationship of the elements and ground emphasizes our place in the c, as Heraclitus said, “You can never step into the same river twice.”
