About this artwork
In my work, I have sought to capture the intensity and untamed force of nature, using enamel to create a flow of abstract forms and expressionist sensations. The dramatic contrast between deep black and pure white evokes a storm of emotions, reflecting the chaos, but also the breathtaking beauty of the unpredictable. This art is not only a visual observation, but an emotional experience that invites reflection, ideal for energizing and stimulating… conversations in any space in which it is placed.
Roberto Buccilli, an exponent of Abstract Expressionism, manipulates acrylics, stucco, and recycled materials. His preferred technique is the use of palette knives, blending gestural expression with vigorous textures. His works exude the raw sincerity of emotion, capturing the immediacy of his creative sensations. He exhibits regularly in Italy and abroad (all documented) and participates in major national fairs such as Arte Padova, Arte Genova, Pavia Art, and Arte Parma. His work is featured in the Mondadori Modern Art catalog no. 58 and in the De Agostini Modern Art catalog, 2024 edition, presented at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
