About this artwork
In my work, I have tried to capture the essence of the wild and uncontrolled movements of human passion and impulses through the use of emerald in a fusion of red and black. These vibrant colors fight and dance on the canvas, symbolizing an eternal battle between opposing forces. Each brush stroke expresses an intense emotion, a cry from the depths of the soul that seeks to escape or prevail. By bringing this work into your home, you will add a touch… of fiery and passionate energy that is sure to stimulate conversations and attract the eye.
Roberto Buccilli, an exponent of Abstract Expressionism, manipulates acrylics, stucco, and recycled materials. His preferred technique is the use of palette knives, blending gestural expression with vigorous textures. His works exude the raw sincerity of emotion, capturing the immediacy of his creative sensations. He exhibits regularly in Italy and abroad (all documented) and participates in major national fairs such as Arte Padova, Arte Genova, Pavia Art, and Arte Parma. His work is featured in the Mondadori Modern Art catalog no. 58 and in the De Agostini Modern Art catalog, 2024 edition, presented at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
