Ecstasy portrays the highest moment of Contemplation, when the soul leaves the reality of the world to fix itself in the Reality of Being. When I saw this image among the portraits that I thought I would use to improve the technique in oil painting with Cobra colors by Talens (oil miscible in water, without the use of dissolvents), I immediately saw the contemplative gaze, towards the Infinite. interesting, the serenity and harmony of the gaze and facial expression. Even the roses on the hair in the center of the head coincided with this perception, because they perfectly represent the spiritual realization, that which in the spiritual traction of India is called Saharsara or Sahasrara, the thousand-petalled lotus.
