About this artwork
True to his aesthetic, the artist deconstructs the traditional portrait to reorganize it into a psychological puzzle where pure graphic design meets chromatic intensity.
The focal point undoubtedly lies in the eyes. Treated as globes of fire or molten stars, they captivate the viewer with their complex, almost mineral texture of gold flakes.
"With 'The Double 7', Roger M. confirms his mastery of a visual language where apparent chaos is rigorously… ordered. It is a rare piece, which does not simply occupy space, but directly questions the observer about their own internal divisions.

« At the studio, I am in my bubble, the images arrive and collide, here they are on the canvas, everything calms down, waiting for the EXHIBITION, where everything will be said. »
"Often, I have taken delightful journeys, embarked on a word." H. de Balzac
