About this artwork
An Unchemistry Guide is a series of nights spent exploring the Beaugrenelle district in Paris. A territory conceived from its inception as a leading figure in urban innovation, bearing a futuristic vision of the capital, quickly weakened by its era, then long relegated to the sidelines before being profoundly rehabilitated.
The images focus on this transitional zone. They observe Beaugrenelle in a nocturnal temporality, when the space detaches… itself from its primary functions and seems to enter a second life. Night reveals an architecture conceived as a manifesto, but whose audacity long preceded its acceptance.
