About this artwork
My work is complex. In my artistic journey I have experimented with many techniques on different media. I like to explore the many facets that Art offers. I have drawn horses, which I love very much, and I thought of proposing them pictorially in a semi-abstract dimension, which allows me to highlight them but at the same time insert them in a context free from patterns and immersed in space, as the nature of the horse suggests to me.

Italian artist Rossana Borzelli comes from a Roman family of artisans and artists and has always expressed her deepest emotions through this medium. Her striking portraits are inspired by her life experiences and those of female artists of yester years. Their silhouettes are ethereal, emotive and evocative of the struggles they encountered. Working with a diverse range of organic and traditional painting materials Rossana's pieces have great depth and texture, enduring totems to their subjects.
