« My artworks highlight differences and contrasts, like strength, provocation and violence as opposed to femininity, hospitality and sweetness, all of which live in me and therefore in my work. »
Italian artist Rossana Borzelli comes from a Roman family of artisans and artists and has always expressed her deepest emotions through this medium. Her striking portraits are inspired by her life experiences and those of female artists of yester years. Their silhouettes are ethereal, emotive and evocative of the struggles they encountered. Working with a diverse range of organic and traditional painting materials Rossana's pieces have great depth and texture, enduring totems to their subjects.
Rossana has displayed her artwork in solo and group exhibitions throughout Europe.
