About this artwork
My work fuses realism with pop art and figurative art, through the lively use of acrylic. It is a tribute to deep emotional states, an invitation to reflect on inner solitude and personal research. In creating this canvas, I aspired to instill an enterprising visual conversation, to stir the soul and bring an energy that incites thought and self-exploration into every home.

Italian artist Rossana Borzelli comes from a Roman family of artisans and artists and has always expressed her deepest emotions through this medium. Her striking portraits are inspired by her life experiences and those of female artists of yester years. Their silhouettes are ethereal, emotive and evocative of the struggles they encountered. Working with a diverse range of organic and traditional painting materials Rossana's pieces have great depth and texture, enduring totems to their subjects.
