About this artwork
This piece is inspired by Comic books, Decollage painting and Ben-Day dots used by American artist Roy Lichtenstein. I am Decollaging using Ben-Day dots. The piece has two different compositions, printed on two different media, is an archival print. The transparency of the media creates a 3D effect allowing the image on the "background" to come thru slightly. The colors are vibrant.
« "I use comic book images and adapt, combine, destroy, recombine, and layer them into completely new and energized compositions." »
