With "Beneath the Surface," Säme explores the concept of stratification: of color, light, and visual tension. The composition is based on horizontal bands, constructed through superimposed flat planes, breaks, and textures. The surface appears stable, but beneath this formal organization, something more unstable emerges: vibration, fracture, friction. The series questions the boundary between construction… and expression, silence and saturation. Each canvas becomes a visual cross-section, a fragment of an abstract, inner landscape, traversed by luminous thresholds.
