About this artwork
This piece is created using the works by Hofstadter and Kahneman describing decision making and problem solving. I take their ideas and create what I imagine are how ideas are formed. We connect dots in our head to make interpretations to data, much like a computer, but with emotional input and inferred information. We are imperfect machines. This painting has been in several juried exhibits including two this year alone.

« My work looks at the differences between AI calculations and human decisions. The mystery of human behavior defies logic, yet logic is essential to decisions. My work explores these relationships. »
