About this artwork
A moment captured in the heart of my garden, like a close-up immersed in the profusion of summer flowers.
The clusters of petals follow one another, rich in shades — mauve, violet, plum, pink, salmon, sometimes touched with a blue or red glow.
Sunlight glides over their tips and transforms each reflection into vibration, each shadow into depth.
Between interpretation and realism, it is a profusion of details: the generosity of nature, but revealed… in its finesse, in its small leaves, its thousand variations of colors.
A painting that is both dense and subtle, like a breath of the season frozen in its full intensity.
My name is Sabrina Alvarez.
As a painter and interior decorator, I live and create in Île-de-France, in a green setting where light, materials and seasons nourish my imagination.
Trained in applied arts and the architectural environment, I initially supported development projects before fully returning to painting, my first passion.
My work explores the boundary between figuration and abstraction, with attention to color, texture, and balance. I alternate between acrylic and oil on canvas, depending on the emotion or rhythm that each work evokes.
My inspirations: nature, inhabited interiors, abundant gardens (especially my own, in Varennes-Jarcy), but also ancient civilizations, period costumes… Everything that links the artistic gesture to human history and the senses.
Thank you for your visit, looking forward to exchanging ideas!
