About this artwork
In this work I wanted to depict American pride in its victories in the field of sports. In America, competition and the sense of winning are deeply felt as a goal not only in sports, but also as racial and cultural pride. I put an old t-shirt of my son. He doesn't know he's a champion. I made it the subject of a work to remind ourselves that we are unique and have a value, that we should first recognize ourselves and recognize it in others.
