About this artwork
I got the spark for this painting, that I have to create a peculiar house inhabited by cats. Sometimes in newspapers I have read about how someone has let cats multiply endlessly and the house is full of cats. I put no people visible in the painting's house. I photographed my son's cat, but it was difficult. The cat didn't understand the modeling job and had to be bribed to climb so I could take a photo. Green tea has green tea leaves. I got the…
idea from that that they could bring the tree to life. I glued tea leaves to the trees in the painting.
