About this artwork
The spark for this painting with Sisusavi came to me when I saw a flower-decorated wedding dress in a shop window in Zagreb. I first created the skirt in the painting, and then everything else followed.
I decorated the dress with small pieces made from Sisusavi mass and lightly tinted them with watercolours. I treated the rest of the work with colours I had extracted from plants and mixed into the Sisusavi mass. In some places, I also touched it… up with acrylic paints.
This girl is proud of her dress.
So, this light-toned piece was created using many different kinds of colours.
