About this artwork
The Cannon Woman, besides being a work created in honor of the great Fernando Botero, seeks to raise awareness among the viewer of equal opportunities and the idea of feeling free to appear in any field and context. I depicted the famous Botero dancer with her sinuous, slender shadow. A work that aims to remind us that transformation and change are possible and that true magic happens when everyone feels free to be who they want.
