"Reading Between the Lines" is an abstract painting built from repeated bands of color and visible brushstrokes of different widths, creating a surface that feels rhythmic, layered, and quietly expressive. Olive greens, earthy browns, rust, creams, black, and muted yellows come together in a warm, grounded palette that feels both sophisticated and comforting.
Painted intuitively, the work balances structure with irregularity. The repeated marks… create a sense of order, while the slight shifts in color, spacing, and brushstroke width keep the painting feeling alive.
