About this artwork
This drawing was created out of a need to express my inner feelings and struggles that I experience when overwhelmed by my own problems. “Mud” is a visual depiction of moments when I cannot find a solution, and my thoughts keep returning to the same questions and problems. I feel as though I am constantly entangled in my own thoughts, as if I were moving through mud, which prevents me from seeing a clear path and finding solutions. The piece is drawn…
on paper using Caran d’Ache LUMINANCE pigment pencils.
