About this artwork
Inner shore, the border between the visible and the buried becomes present.
The work depicts a section of earth and silence, where the texture evokes roots, sediment, and hidden memories. The ochre and creamy tones trace a boundary that doesn't separate, but rather connects, two worlds: what emerges and what remains.
It is an invitation to contemplate the intimate landscape that each person keeps within.

Sandra Ballve, I am a self-taught painter linked to contemporary art, who explores abstract expressionism as her main means of expression.
One of my main motivations arose when I discovered the work of Gustav Klimt, an experience that marked the beginning of my passion for gilding.
Since then, this element has become a characteristic feature of my artistic production.
In each work, I incorporate gold in different ways: sometimes as the absolute protagonist, through the use of gold acrylic and gold leaf, and other times as a subtle golden veil that provides luminosity and depth, transmitting an atmosphere of contemplation and harmony.
