About this artwork
The work combines oil painting and collage in a clean, contemporary composition. The pink carnations are rendered with a soft brushstroke that defines their jagged petals without excessive descriptiveness. The rounded eucalyptus leaves introduce a more stable visual rhythm, creating a pleasing balance between lightness and structure.
The blue-lilac background keeps the overall impression airy, while the typographic fragment with the word “sentimento”—which… gives the work its title—inserts an essential conceptual element, without weighing down the reading.
The light frame enhances the work's luminosity. The result is a simple, fresh work, suited to an exhibition context that appreciates the dialogue between painting and contemporary language.

I graduated in Painting from the Academy of Florence in 1988 and opened my first studio in Barga and later in Lucca. I have always explored the themes of women and the land as an identity, blending Tuscan tradition with 20th-century influences through my style, color, and materials: fresco, oil, earth, gold leaf, and concrete, murals, writing, tearing, and collage.
My female imagery ranges from nudes to posed portraits, while landscapes and nature become an inner mirror.
I dress Italian culture in pop, recounting historical personalities and contemporary icons with strong colors and verbal-visual clippings.
With instapainting I tried to unite art and social media, composing a social wall of ideas and moments with the slow pace of painting.
I have also exhibited in Chicago, London, Pietrasanta, Milan and Gardone Riviera.
