This painting is part of Sandy's Year In Kent series, and is a spring depiction of the apple orchards which proliferate in Kent. The colours are vibrant, and celebration of everything spring!
She use top quality Golden acrylics, and spends time layering the canvas with many shades… of paint, flicking, using a palette knife, brushes rags and allowing paint to drip down the canvas in order to create a rich textured paint surface.
This 40x100cm canvas is unframed. It has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
