This painting, made en plein air on the North Pembrokeshire coastpath is one of several pieces Sandy has created on her last trip to Wales. She finds colours and inspiration from the natural world uplift her, and May in this beautiful area was truly inspiring!
Sandy uses beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash,… smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.
