Impressionistic abstracted landscape.
Spring is slowly arriving in rural Kent, where Sandy lives and works. As she works outside as much as possible she is attuned to the changing season, and the early sunshine, burgeoning flowers , especially the daisy, and grass growing is a real joy and an inspiration for this painting.
Sandy uses top quality Golden acrylics, and spends time layering the canvas with many shades of paint, flicking, using a palette… knife, brushes rags and allowing paint to drip down the canvas in order to create a rich textured paint surface.
This 40x100cm canvas is unframed. It has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
