Abstract impressionist landscape.
Every year Sandy visits the North Pembrokeshire coast in Wales. This beautiful and remote place is characterised by National trust protected footpaths, and notably coast paths. The Irish sea is dramatic, and the beaches and cliffs are remarkably beautiful and wild. As St David's, where Sandy stays is on a mini peninsula the light is fantastic, and very gentle. It is a place which has endless inspiration for Sandy,… and she loves to work en plein air whist she is there.
Sandy uses beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.
This 60x60cm landscape painting is unframed. It has white painted edges, and is strung with picture cord
