Winter in Kent where she lives can sometimes have a small covering of snow. Everything becomes a little other wordly. This is Sandy's lane, with the fields and trees that characterize her locality.
She use top quality Golden acrylics, and spends time layering the canvas with many… shades of paint, flicking, using a palette knife, brushes rags and allowing paint to drip down the canvas in order to create a rich textured paint surface.
This 40x100cm canvas is unframed. It has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
