Sandy is inspired by the natural world, and works outside as much as possible. With the Kent country side on her doorstep , her home is surrounded by fields and farmland - all great sources of subject matter, and happiness.
This small painting depicts memories of banks of spring flowers, fresh and pastel coloured.
Sandy uses beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives,… to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.
This 30x30cm landscape painting is unframed. It has white painted edges, and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
