Spring colours have always been keenly anticipated by Sandy, as she lives in a rural location, and is pretty much surrounded by fields, woodland and hedgerows. She loves the disorder and tangles of growth in the spring, it feels fresh and verdant.
Sandy uses beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip,… wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.
