Spring arrives every year, and in this very strange year it's more beautiful to Sandy than ever. Celebrating the wonderful things this natural world has to offer is a driving force behind her artwork, and the brightness, freshness and vibrancy behind the fresh green and yellow of spring is absolutely joyful.
Sandy uses lots of layers of paint too create a complex multi toned painting, and spatters, uses palette… knives, drops paint as well as painting with brushes to create a rich textured paint surface.
This 120x180cm painting is unframed. It has white painted edges and is string with picture cord ready to hang.
