About this artwork
The photograph was taken in one of the rooms of the former tobacco factory in Lucca, Tuscany. This huge industrial site is incredibly located within the walls of Lucca and is characterized by the abandonment by man and a consequent progressive dominance of nature. transformed into a laboratory of perceptual experimentation and spectatorial intervention. A place where time is suspended and the compositional setting forces you to actively participate in the vision, freeing yourself from passive contemplation. The viewer is enriched by the intrinsic characteristics of this place and at the same time becomes co-author, projecting his own narrative dimension, imagining his own story, basing its evolution on his own cultural and biographical experience.
