As a reminder to believe in flying again.
I spy with my little eye something you don't see.
It is easy. It is free.
She sits on his shoulders,
her hands over his eyes.
Not to obstruct his view,
but to give him another one.
She still believes. In flying. In possibilities.
To paths that are not always immediately understood.
While we adults calculate, doubt, and plan, she simply takes off.
In a world that is loud and constantly demands something… from us,
She reminds him that freedom often begins there,
where we briefly close our eyes.
Perhaps we don't always need to see more.
Perhaps we need to learn to see things differently again.
With heart. With trust.
With that childlike courage that says: Come, I'll show you something.
The cardboard is not smooth.
It has visible creases, fine cracks and pressure marks.
The surface is slightly wavy – traces from carrying, rolling and rehanging.
These creases are not a flaw, but part of the artwork.

Sarah Giuliani is a Swiss painter who works figuratively with acrylics, charcoal, and mixed media. She studied at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) and combines artistic practice with her background in art education and social work.
