About this artwork
This artwork is devoted to al the paritcipants of Olympic games at Rio in 2016.
The dynamics, the active contour of the silhouette, the motion, as well as the single point of rest
remind of a rotating windmill which characterizes judo as a sport. When viewed from different
angles, this composition conveys intense vibes and emotions. The tackling figures seem to
merge into one, ready to explode. The bronze, with its nearly unlimited capacity in… sculpture, is
used by the author as a means and material to accomplish the theme.
