About this artwork
"Queen" ist das Geschwisterbild zu "King". Beide Werke spiegeln den Entstehungsprozess eines Ölbildes in einem eigenen Kunstwerk wider. Auch hier kommen Aquarellskizze, Pastellskizze, Fotografie und die einzelnen Malphasen des Ölgemäldes "In a Peaceful Light" zusammen.
Im Hintergrund ist eine meiner liebsten Songzeilen eingebunden: „The Wind Cries Mary“ von Jimi Hendrix. Seine Songs sind für mich lyrische Kunstwerke.
