About this artwork

THE WATER
Water gives life to a breathless body. The water which begins our journey with oracles and secrets is a naive reflection of our soul’s grace in our bodies. It purifies our souls, heals our bodies. Our feelings flows through our bodies, then excitement and enthusiasm raise our souls with mercy and discretion. When we believe the power in the flow, we give up on resisting against the life, so our soul embraces the freedom. This mortal gets… strong with freedom, and the immortal becomes free with this strength.

In creating this sculpture, I sought to embody the grace and fluidity of water. The bronze figure, poised above a marble wave, captures an ephemeral moment of connection between the human form and the natural force. I infused the piece with a calm strength, intending for it to emanate a serene energy into its space.

Seda Eyüboğlu is a sculptor based in Istanbul, Türkiye whose works have been exhibited nationally and in various European countries susch as Italy, Germany. In her abstract and figurative pieces, she fuses emotion with the organic nature of clay. Eyüboğlu employs varying techniques that focus on texture, light, and the balance of shadows to create a sense of harmony comprised of "full and empty concepts, as well as an asymmetric rhythm within the symmetry".

Her works are exhibited in art fairs nationally and in different countries.

Her motto : 'I give LIFE and SOUL to my creations....'
