About this artwork
Silhouettes burst into space, bodies folded, unfolded, suspended in raw energy. Everything vibrates with rhythm and movement, as if the canvas beats to the tempo of invisible music. Acrobatic poses defy balance, frozen in their intensity.
In painting this scene, I wanted to capture the vital force of hip hop: a dance born of the street, free, explosive, with no other rules than momentum. Here I celebrate the art of the body claiming its place,… its space, its voice. It is a tribute to a youth that invents itself in movement.
