About this artwork
"Erosion Sound" features an abstract texture in which vertical lines appear like sound frequencies burned into a metallic surface. The rhythmic patterns created by material erosion and corrosion are reminiscent of an acoustic signal, almost like a visual soundtrack of time. A damaged zone opens up in the center, as if an inner resonant body were penetrating the outside, raw and unadulterated.
It almost seems like a "sound" created by erosion, as… if the rust itself had told a story, burned into the metal. The raw beauty of the destruction makes us reflect on the effects of time, nature, and decay.
The “sound” in the title is not audible, but tangible – a visual resonance that resonates deep within.
