About this artwork
This abstract painting unfolds a multi-layered, tranquil, and yet mysterious atmosphere. A broad palette of cool blues, muted grays, blacks, and earth tones creates an image reminiscent of a misty landscape or a body of water at dusk. The horizontal division in the center of the painting, almost like an imaginary horizon line, evokes a reflection, as if a dark sky were reflected on a still water surface.
The colors aren't clearly defined but rather… blend into one another, like memories fading or blending together. Structured brushstrokes, blurred surfaces, and matte textures reinforce the impression of depth and time.
The image evokes a deep, introspective mood. It appears calm, almost meditative, but not without tension.
My path to art was never straightforward; I've tried many creative careers, from web to print design. But drawing has accompanied me throughout my life. From an early age, I felt the urge to create something new and unusual, and I find that I'm best able to do so through abstract art. I participated in my first exhibitions while still at school and received several awards. Throughout my life, my style and themes evolved, always in harmony with my inner state and lifestyle.
Today, I live in Vienna and continue to explore a wide variety of techniques and forms of expression. My style has often undergone fundamental changes, but the search for uniqueness remains constant. I hope that you will find your own “foggy cosmos” of interpretation in my pictures.
