Springs
I prepared a small surprise for my milestone of the 1000th painting. I decided to make 5 different paintings in a new style named “Springs”. These are the paintings numbered 995, 996, 997, 998 and 999. There will be no more paintings made in this style so each of these works are unique. The main concept of these paintings is the manifestoes encrypted in each of them. It’s a propaganda, conveying the following message: do not be afraid of… public opinion, do not be ashamed of your imperfections, do not hesitate to think out of the box. Only once we conquer our fears, we can display how ingenuine and talented we are from within!
For each of the paintings I chose the quotes of poets and musicians which are the closest to my heart. One of them is a line from a poem by T. S. Eliot: “Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go”. This is underlying slogan of the entire series.
