About this artwork
The interview , this painting was inspired by a memory of my first interview as a gallery assistant. I was terrified and almost lost for words , seemingly through the whole interview , gazing at the people in front of me saying very little . Yes I got the job , no, I did not take it , as I realized I could not fully commit . The best decision for me as I continued on the path of creating Art . The painting I decided to use Ink after I painted her…
with acrylics , I wanted more color but not smothered , the ink allowed me to have color but it is translucent, not taking away the work beneath the ink . The painting is not framed but it is ready to hang in your home .
