“If you do follow your bliss you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. Follow your bliss and don't be afraid, and doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be.” — Joseph Campbell

I have lived in many places in the world. Travel to Africa, Jamaica, and Europe formed the foundation of early artistic and cultural influences in my artwork. Exposure to a broad range of art at a young age was a major inspiration for the direction of my life and career. Later, I attended an arts high school in Dallas, TX and began studying painting, drawing and crafts. I moved to San Francisco at age 17 where I studied painting and photography at the San Francisco Art Institute and obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
I consider myself a globally influenced artist and express myself through painting and photography.
I am inspired by nature and want to create something beautiful in my work. I enjoy taking the initial visual impression a bit further using my own style and techniques. Almost all of my work is landscape painting and photography, with an emphasis on lighting which I think is essential and transformative.
