My work, Beneath the Current, features a textured, abstract ocean environment characterized by rich shades of blue, turquoise, and brown. The upper portion features various irregular, raised patches of metallic and earthy tones, with rugged formations. The central section transitions into vibrant blue hues, evoking the sense of a body of water or sky, with rough metallic textures breaking the smoothness. The bottom part is anchored in deep browns…
and rust colors. Textures are created with sand, very small pebbles and lightweight pumice. The composition uses layered textures and contrasting colors to create depth and a tactile, natural atmosphere.
