About this artwork
I translate “seven” into a seven-beat phrase—begin, carry, hand off, gather, rest, restart, and leave space. Each blue stroke is a gap torn into dusk, a mooring for breath and prayer. The aim is to detach from “things” and work with pure rhythm and value of light, letting viewers hear the inner motion within minimal form.
A layered dark ground sets contrast; soft-edged broad brushes lay the diagonals. Edges mix subtle noise with blur–sharpen passes… to simulate bristled drag. Selective Color Dodge/Linear Dodge boosts the glow, finished with Curves and Hue/Saturation to tune temperature and depth.
