About this artwork
In this creation, I've channeled my raw emotions through the vivid interplay of oil and pastels. My brushstrokes dance with expressionism, weaving a tapestry of unspoken feelings and untold stories. Each color bursts with life, imbuing your space with a dynamic energy that speaks to the soul's journey and its resonant echoes. Let it ignite your imagination and wrap your home in the warmth of introspective wonder.

« I hope to go beyond realism to a new expression of images that emphasize light, color, form, and texture. »
Shevy Levy is an artist based in Canada whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationally. Inspired by a variety of American abstract expressionist artistic movements from the twentieth century, especially abstract expressionism, her most recent works are minimalist in nature. For Levy, geometric shapes convey an illusion of spatial depth. Her striking abstractions are created in a gestural manner with oils and oil pastels on canvas.
