About this artwork
This painting is based on the photos. I mixtured some different photos and made new view with actual landscape.
This landscape has new view with my imagination. I create the sketch of the painting using a digital application and transfer it to Japanese paper using my own technique. I then use a silk screen to highlight the outline. Finally, I use acrylic paint and Japanese mineral pigments to complete the work.
In this acrylic painting, I embraced… the bold and vibrant ethos of pop art to challenge perceptions of urban landscapes. Each stroke and color choice reflects the dynamic, almost rhythmic chaos of city life, transforming familiar structures into a textured dance of light and shadow. This piece pulses with the energy of a metropolis at night, and will infuse any space with its spirited and contemporary vibe.

大村正一 Shoichi Omura Among artists, the artist who had the greatest influence on him was the sculptor Alberto Giacometti. He was inspired by his approach as an artist, which was to set himself the mission of depicting reality as it is, and to create through constant pursuit and exploration. He primarily works with acrylic and oil paints, as well as Japanese mineral pigments, and his background lies in his Japanese origins. He intricately blends his personal imaginations with photography, creating multi-layered, hybrid compositions on canvas through his only method. Omura endeavors to ‘restore the power of painting’, presenting a sense of modern reality in his pieces, with a distinct focus on his interest .
