« My art is fun and uplifting and brings joy and smiles to those who view it. »
American artist Sid Wellman creates high contrast pop art, combining iconic bold graphics with a dazzling color palette to produce a mix of pop and abstract art. Color is the most important aspect of Wellman's art, almost to the point of obsession. While he uses bold blasts of color, incorporated into the pieces through drips and splatters, he uses striking black outlines to provide a point of contrast with his audacious use of color.
