About this artwork
In this winter forest scene, delicate frost transforms the undergrowth into a fine white network of lines and textures. The fallen leaves retain their deep, earthy tones, creating a quiet contrast between cold and warmth, stillness and latent life. Tall tree trunks rise vertically, forming a calm structural rhythm, while the low winter sun filters softly through the branches in the distance.
Part of my Forest series, this work reflects my ongoing… exploration of subtle atmospheres within familiar woodland landscapes. I am drawn to moments when nature reveals its quieter, almost abstract qualities — where texture becomes language and light shapes emotion.
