About this artwork
In this work from my Forest series, morning light breaks gently through a veil of mist, transforming an ordinary woodland path into a space of quiet revelation. The sun filters between tall trunks, dissolving structure into atmosphere and creating a soft dialogue between shadow and radiance.
Photographed in the forests near my home in the Trier region of Germany, this landscape is part of a deeply personal exploration. I walk these paths almost… daily, observing how subtle shifts in season, humidity and light continuously reshape the same terrain. The familiar becomes luminous; the everyday turns contemplative.
Rich greens, warm browns and diffused golden tones create depth and serenity, making this piece particularly suitable for calm interiors, modern living spaces or refined office environments seeking atmosphere and presence.
Printed on Hahnemühle Ultra Smooth paper, the fine gradations of light and mist are rendered with exceptional clarity and depth.
